Three-pass drum dryer for continuous biomass drying with indirect heat supply

The biomass drum dryer is designed as a continuous drying stage for moist bulk material or biomass. The current reference design is based on a discharge capacity of 500 kg/h at approx. 10% residual moisture. Heat is supplied indirectly via a biomass boiler with a hot water circuit and an upstream air/water heat exchanger; flue gases are not introduced into the product stream.
